Auto Darkening Welding Helmet is designed for use by individuals with a fused vertebrae, headache, neck injury, vertigo, whiplash, or arm amputation when welding. It allows a user with one hand to see through the shaded glass until the instant the welder starts making light, then the glass darkens to protect the user's eyes without ever having to drop the welder. With this helmet, the user doesn't have to use his one arm to lift his welding helmet when lining up the parts.   Workers with an arm, shoulder, or hand injury may not be able to use a second hand to stabilize the stinger while welding.

Note: This helmet may make it difficult for a worker with low vision.
